One of the biggest compliments I have received from my clients at the Southmoor Residence is how everyone comments on the home's clean and peaceful paint palette. Honing the color palette was one of my favorite steps in the renovation process, and I have found it is often one of the most difficult steps for homeowners [and even designers]. Paint is hard. Even though I now have many tried and true favorites [neutrals specifically], still every color MUST be tested in the space before committing, since every color will look completely different when applied in different locations, with varying light, interior finishes, etc. I had a really solid color direction going into this process, based on spaces the client shared with me on Pinterest and her love of gray :)

The palette isn't strictly "neutral", with the gray-blues and grass green for the boys' spaces, but generally, these colors represent the type of tone variation I prefer in a paint palette. The colors are soft yet crisp, and are neutral without feeling like every room is painted the exact same color. I like that dynamic feel when walking from room to room.
